CEFR Dutch: Learn to use CEFR

This website will help you to get to know the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Foreign Languages (CEFR).

The level descriptions in the European Framework of Reference (CEFR) are not interpreted in the same way by everyone. The Taalunie is launching www.erknederlands.org to make the meaning of the levels transparent for Dutch speakers of other languages. It offers examples of tasks and elaborations of course participants at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and their assessment by experts. This way you can test your own judgment.

The examples assessed by CEFR specialists come from NT2 education in Flanders and the Netherlands and from education in Dutch as a Foreign Language (NVT).
