Google Arts and culture: Website

On Google Arts and Culture you will find a very wide range of projects in which you can work on art.

On the homepage you will find the following items:

In addition to the apps and exercises, many beautiful collections are also offered online. Below you will find a selection from the range.

  • Explore a museum from home: you can walk into the British Museum from your lazy seat, via this link. If you install the app, you can not only view the artworks, but also admire them via virtual reality tours.
  • Art up close: View your favorite artwork in detail. You can admire Monet's The Water Lily Pond and Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring .
  • Further on the website you can explore works of art on the basis of the colors they contain.
  • Bring culture to life with Augmented Reality: Have you always wanted to take a closer look at Neil Armstrong 's spacesuit or do you feel like delving into weird animals? This also works best with the app, of course.

If you go to the explore section at the top of the page, you'll find art there arranged in different collections and categories. There you will find artists , mediums , art movements , historical events , historical figures and places . You can also explore the collections from time and color.
