NOTUS Musical Notation: Website
On the website you will find a ready-made piano course for both teachers and adult students based on NOTUS Music Notation. NOTUS Music Notation is an innovation of classical music notation with the goal of an easier and less complex musical notation than classical notation. For example, there are no more keys and even the signs mole, cross and repair no longer occur. NOTUS Music notation therefore learns more quickly and stress-free. Nevertheless, NOTUS is a full-fledged and equivalent music notation with all the possibilities of classical notation.
NOTUS Music Notation is the brainchild of Erwin Clauws, professional graphic designer and art teacher in higher education, specializing in visual communication and typography, and is also an amateur pianist. Because of his knowledge of the problems that many people encounter with the study of conventional music notation, he started developing NOTUS Music Notation in April 2013. A music didactic study at Kon. Conservatorium Antwerpen in 2018 and 2019 has confirmed the claims about NOTUS, namely easier, faster and stress-free to learn cum laude.
