Circularity and innovation in the preparation of apple-grape wine


Through integrated application of learning material from different subjects, students work on a project basis, independently and under guidance, to gain a number of insights. According to the principle of problem-solving thinking and application of STEM didactics, we allow students to think along for themselves and take responsibility for the success of a project. In this way we increase their intrinsic motivation and the efficiency of the learning process. The aim is to encourage students to think more circularly. For this we want to work on the preparation of apple-grape wine.

Work packages offered:

  • teacher's manual;

  • WP1: apple juice and grape juice;
  • WP2: yeast and fermentation;
  • WP3: apple-grape wine making;
  • WP4: quality control of wine;
  • WP5: applied circular thinking.
