Zomerschool.Vlaanderen: Educational offer on various subjects
Zomerschool.Vlaanderen is the digital summer school for all of Flanders. For each degree we offer an educational offer on various subjects such as language, mathematics and world orientation.
The project is supported by Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts, Flemish Minister of Brussels, Youth and Media Benjamin Dalle, and the VRT. With Summer School Vlaanderen, the initiators, the public broadcaster and the Weyts and Dalle cabinets want to bring extra supportive educational offer to an age group that has been very affected by the corona crisis in the field of education.
This virtual summer school will not try to replace the missed lessons, but will mainly focus on preparing students as best as possible for the next school year in a fun way.
The lessons of Zomerschool Vlaanderen are also permanently and free of charge for children, parents and schools.
All the material is also made available on platforms for teachers such as KlasCement and Het Archief voor Onderwijs, so that it can be used later in the classroom.
