The bet: Reading promotion
The challenge of De Weddenschap is to read three books in half a year. When successful, the mission is complete.
Pupils and students choose one of them as a reading coach based on the video. During the six months that De Weddenschap lasts, the reading coaches send tips in the form of videos and news updates to stimulate reading. The teacher is of course the most important reading coach. The Bet offers a step-by-step plan and timetable for the teacher. Lesson suggestions and assignments are offered so that each teacher can complete the project according to their own preferences.
Pupils can search between reading lists for books that suit them.
