Meetings with refugees, after the flight: Audiovisual teaching material

This collection is part of a six-part collection series about people on the run. In this collection you will find image and sound fragments about the life of refugees after their flight, together with more context and concrete teaching tips.

Once arrived in the new host country, the journey towards a new and safe life is not over yet. At that moment, a new and challenging stage begins in the newcomer's life. In this collection, witnesses of the Red Star Line Museum Fieldwork Project speak about how they experienced their first months after the flight. Afterwards, the collection focuses on various aspects of life after the flight.
