Workshop Poetry & Improvisation

During a Poetry & Improvisation workshop we will work with words and poetry in a contemporary way. We don't leave at a table with a pen in hand. We start from active and agile improvisation exercises.
You will be introduced to the many possibilities of rhyme. You come up with colorful poems on the spot. You discover the power of inventive metaphors. You get the chance to invent words yourself!
To strengthen our creative wordplay, during the workshop we also pay attention to intonation, rhythm, body language, energy, volume, etc.

Attention! This is not a writing workshop. This is a language workshop where we start from speaking and rhyming!

Course of the workshop:

• Introduction
• Physical Warm-up
• Voice warm-up
• Improvisation exercises on rhyme, originality, language, ...
• All exercises and learned skills come together in a final exercise at the end
• Evaluation and Feedback
