FIRST LEGO League Challenge

FIRST ® LEGO® League Challenge is a friendly competition where teams of students between the ages of 9 and 15 are involved in research, problem solving, programming and engineering. They build and program a LEGO® robot that performs the missions of a Robot Game. As part of the Challenge, teams will also design an innovative solution to a real-world problem relevant to the theme.

The highlight of the FIRST ® LEGO® League Challenge is the Regional Final. During a whole day, all teams get the chance to show what they have worked hard on in recent months. Regional finals are organized in almost every province in Belgium.

This year's FIRST LEGO League challenge is called MASTERPIECES. Children will learn about how we share our own hobbies and interests with others while learning about experts in museums, theaters and other creative industries.

People who work in the arts sector can teach us a lot about how to communicate, how to create engagement and how to entertain audiences of all sizes. The team will use critical thinking and innovation to inspire others to learn and entertain!
