Technology box: Getting started with technology with a limited budget
For his Bachelor's thesis, Joren Van Der Meiren investigated how we can integrate more technology into the third grade of primary education with a limited budget. For this he developed a technology box on the theme of construction.
This technology box contains various materials to make the students work in corners. The end result of the corner work is a bridge. By performing the different tests, the students are prepared to make a strong bridge.
The corners in which the students can work are:
- Which profile is strongest?
- How strong is a bow?
- Which shape (triangle / square) is strongest?
- Expansion: Bambox.
