Quotes: Drawing assignment
The students draw a quote with self-designed letters.
- The students fill in the assignment sheet. It contains one doing exercise and one question for which they must perform a search.
- The students receive all kinds of inspiration material such as fonts, alphabet, examples of calligraphy and typography ... The inspiration material is printed on A4 sheets and is laid out in the classroom.
- The students first sketch a number of letters on scratch paper and then draw them over in the net on their assignment sheet. If they do not have enough space, they work on an extra drawing paper.
- The students can then look up some quotes on their mobile. They pay attention to the length of the quote; maximum seven words.
- Pupils who have finished in the past practice punctuation marks.
