Love Poems: Poetry and Creative Writing

In this lesson example, we stimulate the creativity of the students by combining the reading of poems with creative writing assignments. Both before and after interpreting poems, the pupils themselves actively use poetic means of expression in a playful manner. In this way we make a transfer from creative writing to creative reading and vice versa. The literary procedures that the pupils themselves apply can also be used as interpretation techniques during reading. Writing and reading are thus combined in one creative process.
