Examination of Magnets: STEM Compass


You can use this STEM project when you work around the BC De Kleine Professor . During this project, the children actively gain experience with different magnets.

  • They investigate which objects are magnetic and which are not.
  • They discover that the strength of magnets can vary.

This contribution was made according to the didactics of the STEM compass ; a guideline and source of inspiration for shaping activities and lessons around STEM. This contribution is the result of a collaboration with students from the Educational bachelor Pre-school education and the Educational bachelor Primary education from the Odisee Hogeschool campus Aalst.
