Poems: Creative writing
The students write a poem themselves based on a Dixit card.
A number of preparatory steps to invite the students to make associations and evoke feelings with their card, with the hope that this will be expressed in their poem.
A reflection frame has been added at the end.
Finish in class:
- exhibit all poems,
- pupils go around and express appreciation for each other's poems.
Because the students use a pseudonym, this can be done anonymously and it does not become a popularity contest.
The students answer two questions as they go round:
- What do you like about this poem?
- How do you feel from this poem?
