Censorship: Teaching module
In the educational package (De)ban (of) the book, you will use examples from literature, film and media to find out what censorship is and how it relates to free speech. The students learn to recognize censorship in a historical text and search the library for controversial literature. They understand that the Belgian constitution prohibits censorship, but that there may still be reasons to apply (self) censorship.
