Meaning-oriented reflection with an effect on action: Guidance and exercises

Various curricula contain curriculum objectives related to reflecting on one's own actions. Many teachers will agree that these are valuable curriculum goals. At the same time, they pose a challenge, both to achieve these among the students, to design a goal-oriented educational approach and to select suitable didactic methods and to evaluate the achievement of the goals.

This guideline first discusses exactly what reflection entails. It then outlines some challenges in achieving these curriculum objectives. The third part consists of widely applicable suggestions and working methods for an educational approach.
