Imparfait: Game of the Goose

Game of the goose to playfully practice the Indicatif imparfait . The game can be played per two or three.

The file includes:

  • a board game (printing and laminating);
  • a correction card (2 pages - print recto).

Necessities:

  • 1 die,
  • 2 to 3 pawns per game.

Method:

The first player throws a dice and moves the pawn on the game board with the number of rolled eyes. Then the player throws a second time. The number of eyes determines according to which person the verb on the box must be joined. The player notes the correct verb form. The other player checks the answer based on the correction card. In case of a wrong answer, the player must go back one square with his pawn. With a correct answer, the pawn remains. The first player to reach the end wins the game.

Tip: On the basis of a different correction sheet, different verb times can be practiced.
