This infographic is the principle diagram of the circular economy: the butterfly diagram.
It shows the different possibilities for circularity for biological (left half) and technical (right half) materials, in order of value retention for those materials. Ranging from the most high-quality (and therefore desired) strategy to the most low-value. The graphic is a version of the original by the Ellen McArthur Foundation edited by Flanders Circular.
