Children's rights are receiving more and more attention. For example, the children's right to be able to actively contribute, or 'participate', is recognized in all kinds of sectors. But translating this right into educational practice with young children remains a challenge. What is it all about, why is it important, and how can we promote this children's right? These are questions that have only been examined by scientists for a relatively short time.
