Two aspects are central to this session:

Sharing our experiences in developing and using learning materials for integrated STEM education.

Collecting input from the participants to efficiently create preschool Teacher Design Teams in which teachers together shape integrated (STEM) education and can further professionalize. These teams must be technologically supported.

speakers
Mieke De Cock is a professor at the KU Leuven, Faculty of Science – Department of Physics and Astronomy. She is responsible for the physics teacher training. Her research interest and expertise: conceptual understanding of physics, interplay of mathematics and physics & designing and learning in STEM education.
Heidi Knipprath is a research expert (school) careers at HIVA-KU Leuven. Her research interest and expertise: educational effectiveness (mbtoa STEM), transition education – labor market and lifelong learning.
