Time for a disconnection plan at school level

Some time ago, the legislator obliged employers in the private sector to discuss disconnection. Strictly speaking, schools do not fall within the scope of this law, yet work is being done on a framework regarding disconnection.

A number of questions automatically arise. What are the different communication needs of the parents, the students and the management? What can we expect and demand from our teaching staff? How can we coordinate that without teachers having to be available at all hours of the day and evening?

By analogy with the implementation of a teleworking policy, schools will have to ensure that they define a framework in which the teaching staff must be available. Teachers also receive sufficient guarantees to maintain their own autonomy. With a framework around disconnection you invest in motivated staff.
