Computer programming


In the future, being able to program will probably be just as important as being able to speak English well. The skills required to do so help to gain insight into the 'back side' of the devices we use every day. Programming teaches children to create rather than consume. It is therefore not necessarily intended to train children to be programmers, but to teach them skills that will benefit them in any profession.
