Thanks to libraries, class visits and tailor-made book packages, the lending figures of Antwerp libraries are peaking. But are the right books hiding behind those figures? Sophie D'Hollander, responsible for school activities, wondered. She started the Reading Power pilot project and polled 380 teachers and students about the need for reading material in the classroom.
