Staying close to realize equal opportunities: Kindergarten
'Coronalockdown causes greater learning delay than expected', the VRT Nieuws headlined some time ago (VRT NWS, 2020). That is precisely why this final-year student of Bachelor of Kindergarten UCLL Diest thought it was even more important to focus on equal opportunities for all students during the internship. But how do you keep all the preschoolers on board? It required creative thinking skills, but we succeeded by making use of digital education and by providing extra support to at-risk students together with the nursery teacher.
