Use greenscreen in iMovie: Remove background from video
This support article on Apple's website demonstrates how to use the well-known greenscreen technique. You make a video recording in front of a green (or blue) screen. iMovie will then remove the background automatically. This way you are in a virtual news studio or in your educational video.
