Sage: Advanced math software
Sage is an Open Source Computer Algebra system ideally suited for students of mathematics, and all other STEM fields, more advanced than any graphing calculator. Furthermore, Sage is based on the popular Python programming language. Sage can be used for calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, data science, abstract algebra, discrete mathematics, graph theory, physics, numerical arithmetic, machine learning, combinatorics, numerical mathematics and analysis, among others. It combines about 100 software packages into one.
The goal that Sage's developers have in mind is to create an " open source alternative to Magma, Maple, Mathematica and MATLAB ".
